Way of the Bold is a Component that is used to provide armor and shield reinforcements to a Javelin. Apart from these Health reinforcements, it also provides javelins with additional perks that improve their overall combat prowess, making it a type of Combat Equipment.

Way of the Bold is classified as a Interceptor Component that can only be used by the Interceptor Javelin.

Note: All numeric values (except the power level) mentioned are only applicable to the default state of the Component. It may be possible to increase or decrease the net values using inscriptions, but they will not be shown.

This item has a special ability, which is a procedural perk that can be activated by performing an action mentioned in its masterwork perk.

• The component can essentially make interceptor immortal as each melee defeat (using melee weapons or melee abilities) will simply grant 40% armor to the Interceptor.
• Components are the only combat items that have a completely unique base design and upgraded design icons, and not simply a reskinned version of existing items.
• A base version (Epic/Rare/Uncommon/Common) component can be stacked with its upgraded version (Masterwork/Legendary) component.
