Tyrant's Revenge

Tyrant's Revenge is a hidden place, located in the nation of Bastion, on the planet Coda, as of the year 468 LV. This eerie location exists in a different reality than the present. So, letting anything within it outside will wreak havoc in Bastion. The Storm Gate of this conjunction—its entrance—is indeed found in Northern Bastion.

History

In the year 468 LV, around the time of Season of Skulls Festival, storm gates started showing up in Northern Bastion since the Echo of Reality was fully silenced. Among these, not only did old and familiar locations return with new threat, but new places showed up. Tyrant's Revenge is one of them.

The storm gate to Tyrant's Revenge first started showing up in Korox Shallows, a district in Great Falls Canyon subregion, but has also showed up in a myriad of locations, but still within Northern Bastion.

Geography and Layout

Tyrant's Revenge is a creepy, yet beautiful place. Its burgundy walls are studded with skorpion eggs that glow a golden yellow. There are skulls and bones of a wide variety of fauna on the rocky walls, which have three openings leading to small cavelets.

In the center is a rocky mound, again studded in glowing eggs, that leads to a pipe-shaped Shaper structure, with a large opening, big enough for something as massive as a Swarm Tyrant to crawl through it.

There is an ominous Shaper Storm inside Tyrant's Revenge, which destabilizes any javelin contacting it. Fortunately, three Reality Bubbles that gradually decay have also formed on the ground. There are also pools of harmless liquid on the ground, going outside the bubbles will cause the storm to do harm. This place is home to ghostly skorpions.

The creatures marked with and are found only through World Encounters and World Events respectively. Those unmarked may also be found in such events, but are usually found on their own. The following types of fauna, Chimera, and Elementals are revealed to be found in Tyrant's Revenge. There may also be small Insects which are tough to identify. Weaponized and Shaper Corrupt creatures are not listed here

There may not be any specific enemies that belong to any known factions here. Hostile flora and fauna, if found here, aren't considered as enemy encounters.

This location currently doesn't have any exclusive cortex entry found in the game. Tyrant's Revenge may have been mentioned in certain situations such as, the Freelancer having conversations or overhearing when the people in Coda speak, or mentioned outside the game in legitimate sources like the official tie-in media.

Tyrant's Revenge is a grim and ghastly looking place, when compared to its real counterpart called The Hive in Academy Ruins. This is how it is known that Tyrant's Revenge happens in an alternate reality.
Standing inside a Reality Bubble will allow anyone to see the environment clearly. Outside, there is a haze that makes everything blurry and greenish.
