Tome of Precision is a Component that is used to provide armor and shield reinforcements to a Javelin. Apart from these Health reinforcements, it also provides javelins with additional perks that improve their overall combat prowess, making it a type of Combat Equipment.
Tome of Precision is classified as a Storm Component that can only be used by the Storm Javelin.
Note: All numeric values (except the power level) mentioned are only applicable to the default state of the Component. It may be possible to increase or decrease the net values using inscriptions, but they will not be shown.

Tome of Precision is an upgraded Lightning Inscription. It is a component that increases electric damage by 5%, electric effect by 5%.
This item has a special ability, which is a procedural perk that can be activated by performing an action mentioned in its masterwork perk.
Masterwork Perk: Defeating an enemy increases elemental damage by 40% for 10 seconds.

Trivia (May Contain Spoilers)
- Tome of Precision is the most important Storm Component as its masterwork perk can single handedly increase all elemental damages, and Storm mostly does elemental damage.
- Tome of Precision previously had a different masterwork perk which was poorly received. So, it was changed to the current one. The previous perk was:
- Sniper Rifle weak point kills increase electric damage by 60% for 5 seconds.
- Components are the only combat items that have a completely unique base design and upgraded design icons, and not simply a reskinned version of existing items.
- A base version (Epic/Rare/Uncommon/Common) component can be stacked with its upgraded version (Masterwork/Legendary) component.
