The Breach is a district of Eastern Reach Subregion found within the region of Northern Bastion, located in the nation of Bastion, on the planet Coda, as of the year 468 LV.
History
The Breach used to be a barren location adjacent to the mountains of the Eastern Pass or the East Gate. However, after the invasion of Scars in 413 LV, The Breach saw multiple attempts of Scar related incursions, until eventually when the Scars gained a foothold. The Breach is thought to be the location where the Scars first entered Bastion, and hence, Coda.
After encroaching the Breach, the Scars built several barely stable structures across the barren land. Eventually the Scars built one of the foulest smelling structures known to humanity in 453 LV—The Hate Engine.
In the year 468 LV, the Freelancer ventures into the Breach several times to help Brin and Yarrow. This territory had already become inflicted with the “plague” the scars bring when they occupy the area. Brin had contracted the Freelancer to repair a Beacon setup here by an unknown lancer through Cautious Cooperation. The Freelancer came here to find the location of a scar leader called Voraxes the Swarming to find out how an Overdue strider went missing.
Geography and Layout
The presence of Scars has deteriorated the area. The Breach has dying flora. The cliffs here have scar presence and structures.
The Hate Enging is one of the immediately visible structures found in The Breach.
