Tales from the Strongholds lists all relevant cortex entries of Your Stories sub section found in the Library main section of the Cortex.
These are the stories a group of Freelancers teamed up with the Freelancer that survived the Heart of Rage to take on dangerous contracts—not the usual run-of-the-mill kind—provided by Corvus called Strongholds.
Note: The Tyrant Mine entry is directly taken from data mined files since it doesn't show up in the journal no matter how many times the stronghold is completed due to a bug.

The following are some of adventures of the Freelancer in the Strongholds. It is to be noted that because of a bug not all entries are unlocked in the game. Some are mentioned below the collection for reference.
Stronghold: The Temple of Scar

After tracking an Escari named Scelos to a fortified Scar nest, Corvus hired four determined Freelancers to mount a siege against the vile swarm. Disaster struck shortly after they infiltrated the nest. The Scars had dug deep underground and found an ancient Shaper construct. Scelos planned to use the construct to create a Cataclysm even as the Freelancers raced to intervene. After surviving many ambushes, the Freelancers confronted Scelos, who had ascended to become a Luminary—the highest echelon of Scar. Scelos destabilized the construct, which then created more Scars. The vigilant Freelancers were able to silence the relic before Scelos could finish creating its army. They put the Luminary in the ground, then returned to the surface triumphant.
Stronghold: Tyrant Mine

A garrison surrounded by dangerous wilderness, Fort Tarsis has always depended on traders who bring food and resources through the gates. When Scars attacked supply caravans with unknown acidic weapons, Corvus hired four brave Freelancers to stop the Scars and investigate their new attack methods. The Freelancers discovered that Scars were using volatile Shaper relics and the natural acid inside skorpion eggs to create the weapons. After silencing the Shaper relic, the Freelancers ventured deep into the skorpion lair to exterminate the egg source: the vicious Swarm Tyrant. An epic battle ensued with the Swarm Tyrant and its brood, but the Freelancers were victorious, and the caravans were safe once more.
Heart of Rage[]
Note: This entry is taken from the mission Return to the Heart of Rage because that mission becomes a stronghold after finishing the critical path.
With their Dawn Shield finally ready, the Freelancer ended the tale where it began by venturing into ruined Freemark and the nightmare of ash, flames, and death that lay within. This time, the storm's horrors were made worse by waves of Dominion soldiers left behind by the Monitor on his mad race to the Cenotaph. There, in the eye of the storm, the Freelancer found him waiting. No longer a lancer or even a human being, but transformed into a monstrous extension of the Cenotaph's power which guarded the way to the relic. Although the Monitor turned the storm itself against them, no amount of fire or lightning could stop the Freelancer. The Monitor was slain and the Cenotaph, at last, was silenced, bringing peace to the Heart of Rage.
