The 2 types of Support Seals
Support Seals are Gears that can only be used by the Storm Javelin. Support Seals are considered Support or Gear 3.
Note: Support is mapped to the Ability 3 Key in the game settings. It is simply called Support or Gear 3 or Gear 3 button henceforth and throughout the wiki.
There are only 2 types of Support Seals. Each type can be classified under two forms: Lower Forms and Upgraded Forms.
Support in Lower Form will not exceed a rarity of Epic. Upgraded Supports will not have a rarity below Masterwork. The primary difference between the two types is that each Lower Form can have more than one upgraded Form.

Not all Upgraded Supports can be obtained in every mentioned way below. Check their individual pages for more details.
- Loot
- Regulator Store
- Seasonal Store / War Chests
- Guardians Gifts (Tomb of Yvenia)
Inscriptions and Sigils[]
The following Inscriptions increase Support related combat features:
- Gear Damage: Increases Gear Damage.
- Damage: Increased all damage including gear damage.
- Blast Damage: Increases all blast damage including that of gear, only if the Gear does Blast Damage.
- Gear Charges: Increases gear recharge rate.
- Gear Recharge Rate: Increases gear recharge rate.
- Support Recharge Rate: Increases recharge rate of Support.
The Following Sigils increase Gear related Combat Features:
- Gear Sigil: Decreases Gear Recharge Time.
Salvage[]
Support Seals can be salvaged to obtain various amounts of crafting items. Depending on the rarity of the gear, the salvage will yield different number of resources and different rarity of embers. The following items can be received through salvage:
- Chimeric Compounds
- Chimeric Alloy
- Storm Parts
- Embers: Uncommon/Rare/Epic
