Location District Southern Reach District Header Image

Southern Reach is a district of Valley of Tarsis Subregion found within the region of Northern Bastion, located in the nation of Bastion, on the planet Coda, as of the year 468 LV.

History

Southern Reach is a location that forms the southern most part of Northern Bastion. It was used as a way to reach Antium Lock and away into the south of Bastion.

Scars are seen trying to take over this location, but as of 468 LV, they aren’t successful, since this is the only way to reach Antium for food sources. Brin, through a Cautious Cooperation effort with The Freelancer, requests to locate Arcanist Beacons that monitor the Scar activity and repair them. One of these beacons was in the Southern Reach.

Geography and Layout

Southern Reach is an interesting location that has a mix between Shaper, Human, and Scar structures, that are mixed with wilderness. Scars are mostly seen trying to take over the Antium Lock, but friendly lancers stop them every chance they get. Several types of fauna live here, and the vegetation has an overgrow. Ironically, Sentinels are not seen standing guard by the lock, keeping it undefended, unfortunately allowing Scars to set up several of their structures, even with a Sentinel Tower present in the vicinity. The Shaper structure is likely a dormant relic that will probably not become active any time soon. Sometimes titans are seen here.

It is absolutely vital that the Southern Reach remain in our control. With Freemark gone, and the gate to Heliost overrun by Scars, the road to Antium is our only source of food and supplies.
