Shaper Energy Emanating from a Volatile Relic
Shaper Energy is the energy present in active Shaper instruments. This energy may be released in various forms when these instruments become volatile. Shaper Energy can interact with both living and non-living things.

Mechanism
It is not the same as Anthem Energy. But these two energies can clash to result in unpredictable consequences. One of the most common but dangerous results of Shaper Energy going haywire, is formation of cataclysms, which themselves are unpredictable in their type and in the way they form. This could possibly alter or completely change the known reality.
Shaper Energy is usually depicted using bright blue color. If Shaper energy becomes unstable, electric Shaper nodes can form all over a given region. Shaper energy can corrupt and modify objects and living beings alike. This results in formation of chimeras.
If Shaper Energy modifies plants, they can produce Chimeric Compounds. If it modifies minerals, the result will be Chimeric Alloys. If they modify animals, they are usually simply referred to as chimeras or simply Shaper corrupt.
If something becomes modified, it will be able to interact with the Anthem of Creation itself. Through this process, various by-products are formed, including, but not limited to, Ember and Crystals.

Electrical Shaper Hazards
Volatile Shaper instruments can force hazardous matter to emerge around them. The most prominent type of such hazards are Shaper Nodes.
Shaper nodes are electrical hazards. They have a charged core that can discharge an electrifying sphere arpound it. Nodes are particularly dangerous when they are approached. They can cause the boosters of any javelin to overheat. Nodes can be destroyed by damaging them.
Other types of Shaper Hazards may include energy pockets, chaos pockets etc. There isn't much information revealed about them.
Trivia
- It is unexplained, but electrical Shaper hazard-like spheres can be setup by Sentinels during Time Trials to challenge the racing lancers.
- Other type of Shaper Hazards are not yet revealed. However, there are cataclysm advents where ice formation is shown during Early Warnings. This makes uses of an Energy Pocket.
- If a Shaper Instrument is active, rotating hexagonal shaped blue lights can be seen in its structure when looked closely.
