Scar Burrow is a landmark, located in the nation of Bastion, on the planet Coda, as of the year 468 LV.

History

Scar Burrow did not exist before 413 LV. In fact, its existence was barely known in the year 468 LV. The first time the structure came to prominence was when the Freelancer tried to help Sentinel Brin to fix some beacons. Until then, it wasn’t known how far the Scars had expanded into the Eastern Reach.

Again, in 468 LV, Corvus tracked down an Escari leader called Scelos trying to hide herself within the tunnels of the Scar burrow. Corvus contracted a group of Freelancers to hunt it down so hat it wouldn’t cause more harm. Unfortunately, by the time the Freelancers reached Scelos, her swarm’s critical mass had grown so much that she ascended to a Luminary. She started a cataclysm using strange rotating Shaper structures that created more full-fledged Scars. Fortunately, the operation was thwarted by the lancers. Scar Burrow, however, is still occupied by Scars.

Geography of Scar Burrow

Scar Burrow is a structure built with the utilitarian and marginally stable architecture, for which the Scars are infamous. It is built under a prominently curved Shaper Spine. It has the usual spikes and rusted metal panels across it. On one of its sides is a white door which is thought to be the entryway into the Scar Nest, which is described as a Temple of Scars.

The vegetation found in Scar Burrow’s vicinity is mostly flora that is dying, with decaying leaves, and withered foliage. Only minor fauna like bugs are found around here.

A classic example of scavenged materials used for Scar purposes, the Burrow is the heavily fortified entrance to their nest, which was (at the time of printing this book) found directly within.
