Ring Gate is a landmark, located in the nation of Bastion, on the planet Coda, as of the year 468 LV.
History
The Ring Gate belongs to a class of Shaper structures called Shaper rings, because they are shaped like rings. This structure along with other rings have existed since time immemorial. Arcanists keep studying these gates, but the ancient history is lost as of 468 LV.
There are 2 ring gates in Academy Ruins, one of which has collapsed due to an unknown seismic activity, possibly Shaper related, which may have also destroyed Velathra. It is theorized that these rings found all over Coda are a way of transportation to various locations on the planet, hence the term “Gate” is used. As of 468 LV, the Ring Gate seems dormant, but Arcanists have established several camps to keep studying them.
During the of Season of Icetide of 486 LV, a wreath was hung on one side of the ring, which when lit, would glow up. It would also help to collect secret Icetide Wishes.
Geography and Layout
Geography of Ring Gate
The Ring Gate, as the name suggests, is a larger than life, set of solid rings, at present overrun by flora. Several docile fauna are also seen around the gates. The rings are situated on a cliff that overlooks the eastern border of Northern Bastion.
