Faction System
Reputation is a special type of reward system of gaining approval from various factions to earn loyalty from their members to support the cause of the Freelancer. There are three factions which give reputation points: Arcanists, Sentinels, and Freelancers.
Performing various tasks will provide different amounts of reputation to increase loyalty from these factions. Reputation point svary depending on the type of sctivity performed. Earning various amount of reputation will reward with special rewards which include cosmetics, Combat Equipment, and unlocking new gameplay features like stores, new locations, and Currencies.
Arcanist Loyalty
Earning Arcanist Reputation will increase Arcanist loyalty towards the Freelancer. Complete activities to support Arcanists in their work. Build trust, and you'll gain an introduction to a secret store run by resourceful Regulator friends. Your help also allows work to continue on a reliable clean water source within Fort Tarsis.
Arcanist Reputation Earning Methods
Performing the following actions will reward Arcanist Reputation:
- Helping Matthias and the trio through Expeditions.
- Collecting Arcanist Runes
- Opening treasure Chests
- Performing Arcanist related World Events.
- Speaking with Fort Tarsis residents and selecting dialogs that ask about or uphold Arcanists.
- Repeating the Heart of Rage Stronghold (150 points for regular or 150-600 points for seasonal depending on the number of lancers in the expedition)
Arcanist Reputation Related Challenges
- Uncommon sigil blueprints
- Rare sigil blueprints and the Tungsten, Silver, and Platinum metal Plating
- Epic sigil blueprints and the Bronze, Brass, and Copper metal Plating
Sentinel Loyalty
Earning Sentinel Reputation will increase Sentinel loyalty towards the Freelancer. Complete activities that aid Sentinels in their duties. As Fort Tarsis prospers, you'll see Sentinel-sponsored artwork appear along with a med-bay for non-lancers.
Sentinel Reputation Earning Methods
Performing the following actions will reward Sentinel Reputation:
- Helping Brin through Expeditions.
- Collecting Ember
- Opening treasure Chests
- Performing Sentinel related World Events.
- Speaking with Fort Tarsis residents and selecting dialogs that ask about or uphold Sentinels.
- Completing Echoes of Reality (Game Mode) (150 points for Original or 150 points for Skulls version)
- Repeating the Temple of Scar Stronghold (150 points for regular or 150 points for seasonal)
- Repeating the Sunken Cell Stronghold (150 points for regular or 150-600 points for seasonal depending on the number of lancers in the expedition)
Sentinel Reputation Related Challenges
- Uncommon iconic component blueprints.
- Rare iconic component blueprints and the Tin, Iron, and Lead metal platings.
- Epic iconic component blueprints and the and the Nickel, Chromium, and Titanium metal platings
Freelancer Loyalty
Earning Freelancer Reputation will increase Freelancer loyalty towards the Freelancer. Complete activities that further the Freelancer cause. The work you do will help the Enclave grow and expand: more amplifiers in use, more Freelancers, and a return to the glory days.
Freelancer Reputation Earning Methods
Performing the following actions will reward Freelancer Reputation:
- Helping Yarrow and and any activity that furthers silencing the Heart of Rage through Expeditions.
- Visiting new areas and Collecting exploration related Cortex entries.
- Performing Freelancer related World Events.
- Speaking with Fort Tarsis residents and selecting dialogs that ask about or uphold Freelancers.
- Repeating Tyrant Mine Stronghold (150 points for regular or 150-600 points for seasonal depending on the number of lancers in the expedition)
Freelancer Reputation Related Challenges
- Uncommon universal component blueprints and Standard Wear State
- Rare universal component blueprints and Clean Wear State
- Epic universal component blueprints and New Wear State
Champion of Tarsis
Champion of Tarsis is a special challenge unlocked after completing Loyalty 3 of all three factions. The aim of this challenge is to earn high levels of support from the Arcanists, Freelancers, and Sentinels to create a new monument to honor General Tarsis, founder of the Legion of Dawn, and unlock the Gold metal plating. After completing, a new permanent location will become available in Fort Tarsis.
