Rapid Hollow Points is a Component that is used to provide armor and shield reinforcements to a Javelin. Apart from these Health reinforcements, it also provides javelins with additional perks that improve their overall combat prowess, making it a type of Combat Equipment.
Rapid Hollow Points is classified as a Universal Component that can be used by all javelins: Ranger, Colossus, Storm, and Interceptor.

- Because Autocannons and Machine Pistols have large magazine reserves in their ammo, they do relatively low damage per shot fired. However, because of the masterwork perk of Rapid Hollow Points, these weapon can do a higher weakpoint damage, which is very important during boss fights.
- Components are the only combat items that have a completely unique base design and upgraded design icons, and not simply a reskinned version of existing items.
- A base version (Epic/Rare/Uncommon/Common) component can be stacked with its upgraded version (Masterwork/Legendary) component.
