Pyrrhic Victory is a weapon classified under the Assault Rifle category. Since Pyrrhic Victory is used during combat, it is considered a Combat Equipment. These items are used to damage and defeat enemies or break destructible objects.

Pyrrhic Victory is an upgraded Defender. This weapon is a standard-issue Freelancer rifle.
This item has a special ability, which is a procedural perk that can be activated by performing an action mentioned in its masterwork perk.
Masterwork Perk: Defeating an enemy, or hitting them 10 times, causes a force explosion.

- Pyrrhic Victory's model, files, design and stats are found in the game, but the weapon can't be obtained.
- In Update 1.5.0, it was mentioned that Pyrrhic Victory's values had been adjusted. But this weapon was never obtainable in game by any legitimate means. All information on it was obtained by datamining.
- Pyrrhic Victory has a cortex entry (It cannot be obtained in game without datamining):
- A Regulator by the name of Sandrik Calon was noted for his sense of fair play and justice. All who dealt with him knew he would drive a hard but honest bargain and expected the same in return. The day the outlaws delivered the bogus chimeric compounds is a dark moment in Regulator lore. Sandrik swore he would recover his money and he set out with his son and five of his most trusted associates. They caught up to the outlaws and Sandrik got every bit of his money back and more. But it cost him his son's life and those of his two closest friends. He never smiled again. And he put one of these rifles up on his wall to remind him of his "victory."
- In the game the Magazine size (also known as the clip size) is incorrectly referred to as Ammo within the statistics of a weapon.
