Ponteix is a settlement, located in the nation of Bastion, on the planet Coda, as of the year 468 LV.
History
Ponteix, sometimes spelled as Pontiex, is a small walled town in Bastion. When a strider was attacked by outlaws, only the children survived and were taken to a farm near Pontiex. One of these children, eventually killed the outlaw thug who attacked the strider later in 468 LV and the Royal Family rewarded the young orphan.
A little over 458 LV, the Freelancer met with Owen Corley, who stole food from the young Freelancer. Despite this unusual introduction, the two spent the rest of their week having fun together in the city.
Geography and Layout
Very little is known about Pontiex, except that it is a minor city surrounded by farms. There is very scarce information about its geography. Since its small size, it is not likely to have a Satomi, and likely guarded by Sentinels.
Ponteix seems to be a settlement between Antium and Fortuo. It may have a Freelancer Enclave, but more details are needed for additional confirmation about this mysterious city.
Flora
There are no revealed varieties of macroscopic Flora found in Ponteix.
Creatures
Ponteix doesn’t have any revealed macroscopic Fauna, Chimera,or Elementals, but there may be small Insects that are tough to identify.
Enemy Encounters
There may not be any specific enemies that belong to any known factions here. Hostile flora and fauna, if found here, aren't considered as enemy encounters.

Ponteix isn't particularly visited during any expedition. However, it is possible that Ponteix may have served as a connection between two locations during some expeditions. There may also be several instances of World Events in Freeplay that show up in or around this place.

- Ponteix is named after the Canadian city of the same name. However, the in-game pronunciation is Pon-tay-ex.
- Pontiex is an important city to the lore of
Anthem because when the Freelancer met Owen there, it was the lancer’s birthday.
