Shaper Vine

Etymology and Anatomy

Shaper Vines are unique vines that appear to have been corrupted by Shaper energy. This is not confirmed explicitly, but they are completely black in color. Some have the Shaper energy flowing through them, which is always shown by the bright blue glow like other instances. This may have chimerified or energized them—although there is no damaged done by them to any javelin. Their black coloration is an odd appearance for plants in Coda. These flora are found growing in open spaces. These plants tend to thrive in most locations. Because of their nature, they provide a pleasant ambience during exploration.

Narrative Involvement

In 468 LV, when the Freelancer was trying to find the location of the Javelin of Dawn, there were three gauntlets which had to be passed to enter the sanctum where this jav was preserved. The three gauntlets had Shaper vines growing inside them.

Trivia (May Contain Spoilers)

  • This plant isn’t named in Anthem-logoAnthem. So, in this section, it is named after its appearance.
