Monstera Plant is a non-hostile type flora that grows on planet Coda. It is quite mesmerizing to watch these plant-life. Monstera Plant is used as an ornamental plant. Because of their appearance, they are valued for its beauty and used in decorations.
Etymology and Anatomy
Monstera plants are uniquely recognizable plants across Bastion. Their name is derived from the term “Monstera” which means monstrous.
They are giant shrubs with larger-than-life leaves. Their leaves are fenestrated—this means there are large openings throughout the leaves.
Narrative Involvement
Monstera plants have been found all across Northern Bastion, especially in forest locations. They tend to grow away from water rich sources. However, because of their distinctly shaped leaves, which make them stand out among other shrubs. The Freelancer can encounter these shrubs while flying across Bastion. They turn red during the winter season.
Cortex
This flora currently doesn't have any exclusive cortex entry found in the game. Monstera Plant may have been mentioned in the dialogs when the Freelancer participates in conversations, or overheard when the people of Coda speak with each other, or mentioned outside the game in legitimate sources like the official tie-in media.

Behavior and Abilities
Monstera plants are not known to cause any trouble. They are harmless and are pleasant to look at. They do not do any damage to any javelin, or other living or non-living things.

Anthem can even dwarf a javelin beside them!
