Mentor's Trail is a district of Emerald Abyss Subregion found within the region of Northern Bastion, located in the nation of Bastion, on the planet Coda, as of the year 468 LV.

History

Ancient Arcanists were said to have taken a meditational walk along the Mentor's Trail, giving it the name. Lancers often accompanied these mentors to keep them safe. There have been disappearances here, but not as much as the modern day.

In 458 LV, after the Heart of Rage was unleashed, several Shaper relics around the epicenter of the cataclysm started growing volatile. One of the consequences of such relics in the Emerald Abyss caused the disappearance of many people. People called this the Mystery of the Emerald Abyss.

The Freelancer helped Matthias to find the Arcanist runes which helped all the javelins See in the Dark. When the Freelancer tried to help Matti pinpoint the location of the Elysian Manuscript, their strider was halted in Mentor's Trail, in 468 LV.

The Mentor's Trail is the path of meditation often walked by Arcanists seeking to ponder the deeper mysteries of existence. Though mentors would always have a lancer with them, stone tablets mark the way to and from, since disappearances, while not as frequent as in today's Emerald Abyss, were an issue.
