Hey,
I'm already starting to forget what it was like to slowly fade from existence.
I just know that I wouldn't be here if you hadn't gone and fetched Sumner.
I mean, I wouldn't be anywhere.
You saved my life.
You saved all of us.
(Yeah, technically, maybe it was Sumner's fault, but he doesn't like it when I point that out.)
I hope one day we'll get to return the favor.
You know where we are, if you need us.
— Matti

From: Sumner
So it was all you, huh? Putting the thought in Aruna's head that she should "reconnect" with one of us.
You didn't tell her to pick me, did you?
Did she pick me herself?
She picked me herself, didn't she? Shit.
Too much pressure.
What am I going to do? I don't want to screw this up.
I should talk to Matti.
Is that weird? Would it be weird to get advice from myself?
I'll talk to Matti.
Thanks.

I need help, and I haven't been able to pry Matti and Erryl away from Faye's collection of Dawnguard tapes long enough to get a coherent word out of either one.
So you're it.
Lucky you.
Hypothetically, someone—let's call him "Shmatthias"—had too much to drink one night and decided to write Aruna's name in bioluminescent bryophyta across half the buildings in Fort Tarsis in such a way that it could only be read from her apartment window.
To accomplish this task, drunk idiot Shmatthias may or may not have broken into the labs of several other Arcanists in the Fort to obtain said glowy moss, and then, when that didn't turn out to be enough to finish the last letter, also snuck into Sentinel Brin's office and stole all of hers.
If something this foolish had happened, hypothetically, could you hypothetically smooth things over with Brin before she conducts a hypothetical investigation?
Admitting to nothing,
Sumner

I feel like we haven't spoken in a while. Is it something I said? I can be abrasive at times, I know. If I did something offensive, you can tell me about it. A wise woman once told me that mistakes are only truly bad if we learn nothing from them. So I'd like the chance to learn something here, is what I'm saying.
