Notable Sentinels
These are Sentinels who have been mentioned in some form or the other, but haven’t been seen prominently. They may be alive or deceased as of as of 468 LV.
Andra Tenz
Andra Tenz is a Sentinel who wrote the Icetide Wishes from the Valley of Tarsis Subregion during the Icetide of 468 LV. Andra wishes for a coffee shop inside the Fort.
Athol Kasabian
Athol Kasabian is a Sentinel who wrote the Icetide Wishes from the Emerald Abyss Subregion during the Icetide of 468 LV. Kasabian always draws unfavorable patrol routes, such as the one in the Emerald Abyss, and wishes to draw better ones from the following year
Baylen Charl
Baylen Charl was a Sentinel who died protecting Governor Teak from a Scar Ambush with a pistol.
Blue
Blue is a Sentinel who recounts the story of an instance of a Sentinel Patrol with Calahan.
Calahan
Calahan is a Sentinel whose patrol story was narrated by Blue. These events were stored in Sentinel Archives.
Chanda Tran
Chanda Tran is a Sentinel who wrote the Icetide Wishes from the Eastern Reach Subregion during the Icetide of 468 LV. She is a big fan of the Crimson Lancer fan-fiction written by CLAnonymous.
Chandra may be related to Argentum Tran, or they might actually be the same person, since the argentum's first name remains unrevealed as of 468 LV.
Until more details surface, the wo will be considered as different individuals.
Dinix
Dinix is a Sentinel who recovers a set of letters written by an ex-Regulator turned mercenary called Burn Hardigan, in the year 468 LV, around the time of Icetide. The notes were recovered from a dead courier, who probably was on the way to Princess Zhim, who herself was hiding from the Dominion. Dinix included a pressed flower with the record.
Fatima Lan
Fatima Lan was a Sentinel from the Battle for the Crop Terraces. She witnessed the bravery and sacrifice of Sentinel Commander Yarrick Howel and narrated the events to Hanni Blythe. These accounts are availabe in Blythe's History of Scars.
Garred Barr
Garred Barr is a Sentinel who survives injuries from a roosting Wyvern atop one of the spires of Fort Tarsis.
The story is similar to that of Derian Barr, who faces the same situation. It is unknown if Derian and Garred Barr were meant to be the same person or if they are related to each other, but whose name was changed at the last minute to not get confused with Garred the Chronicler. This could also simply be a visual error, which is most likely the case, since Derian Barr mentions about a similar incident happening to him during a conversation.
Until there is an official confirmation, the two will be treated as separate individuals.
Ferric Gul
Ferric Gul is a Sentinel who narrated the events of a Shaper encounter in the Foundry to Negan Dell in "In The Chair: Interviews with Negan Dell".
Jens Oris
Jens Oris is a Sentinel who wrote the Icetide Wishes from the Academy Ruins Subregion during the Icetide of 468 LV. He hoped for a certain Icetide Miracle from Barr.
Kellye Belgat
Kellye Belgat was a Sentinel who had to work along with an outlaw called Gemma Dane to fight against the Brutes that surrounded them in the middle of their gunfire trying to kill each other. However, they ended up working together and falling in love, which was a doomed affair.
Knox
Knox is Sev's husband. Knox is a Sentinel in Antium. Knox was not happy that Sev wanted to work at Fort Tarsis leaving him alone. Sev came to Fort anyway.
When Sev spoke with the Freelancer, the protagonist can convince Sev to end things with Knox or try to help with their relationship. Depending on what scenario is chosen, the Freelancer will receive one of two mails.
Kriti Ving
Kriti Ving was a Sentinel, who, along with Freelancers Chenda Dhoe and Alston Xen fought against the titans breaching the Shadow Lock during the exodus from Shadowmark and sacrificed their lives.
Larsen
Larsen is a Sentinel because of whom, a Cypher called Setu complained to Sentinel Commander Vule with an angry letter. The Commander promptly forwarded it to Larsen.
Marl Rush
Marl Rush is a Sentinel who wrote the Icetide Wishes from the Fortress of Dawn Subregion during the Icetide of 468 LV. Rush wishes for a new javelin, perhaps a Ranger Mark 3.
Quincy
Quincy is a Sentinel role played by the esteemed dramatic actor, Renerson Ped in the radio drama called Detective Hops Mystery.
Ryssa Brin's Mother
Ryssa Brin's Mother was a Sentinel. She was an excellent soldier and a lancer. She eventually passed on the core case of her own javelin to her daughter, Ryssa Brin. Brin speaks highly of her mother and what she stood for when the Freelancer speaks with her.
Stricklund
Stricklund is a Sentinel who has a particularly "special" was of making a delicious sandwich using grabbit meat and Javelin jets, if one is a Sentinel or using a pan if one is a commoner.
The Dirx Family
Cadmius Dirx was stationed at The Garrison at Velathra, near his hometown of Velathra, nearby. Soon, his two sisters Clara Dirx and Claudia Dirx were also stationed at the Garrison. Later, their youngest brother Corlon Dirx joined their post. Unfortunately the town of Velathra was decimated when the Ring Gate became active, as per the tales passed down by Arcanists.
Unfortunately, all known Sentinels perished during the fall of Velathra, and that included the Dirx family. Modern Sentinels are known to revere and honor the family. In reality, there is no real evidence of this family ever existing.
Tristan Riza
Tristan Riza was a Sentinel who was the sole survivor of a Scar ambush. During the ambush, she witnessed Scars using a new weapon with barbs, one of which was stuck to her javelin. She requested the Arcanists of Fort Tarsis to study it, eventually causing teh development of Riza's Ripper.
Vala Rhee
Vala Rhee is a Sentinel who wrote the Icetide Wishes from the Great Falls Canyon Subregion during the Icetide of 468 LV. Rhee has been consistently defeating Barr in the Time Trials for the past couple of years and wishes to do so again in 468 LV.
Vin Wattana
Vin Wattana is a Sentinel who wrote the Icetide Wishes from the East Gate Subregion during the Icetide of 468 LV. Vin wishes for fewer Scars.
Zakke Darian
Zakke Darian is a Sentinel who is in-charge of the Speed Disk League in Fort Tarsis.
Sentinel Leaders
These are the sentinel leaders who are known, but haven't been encountered by the Freelancer yet. They may be mentioned in passing or in the cortex.
Adris Kamkua
Adris Kamkua was a Sentinel Commander who expressed, "Humanity is a fire in a world of darkness." in regard to the Sentinel tradition of lighting bonfires during the Season of Skulls Festival.
Barris Djall
Barris Djall is a Sentinel Commander who uses the weapon Grave Digger effectively during the Battle of Red Tomb Valley. This was an untested weapon at that time and the plan to use it against the scar enemies was risky. But Djall and his troops successfully contained the situation.
Yandek Gao
Yandek Gao was a Sentinel Commander. In 468 LV, Yarrow requested the Freelancer to light a shrine for the fallen Freelancer who saved Commander Gao in the Battle of Gao's Choice by sacrificing their lives.
Rann
Rann was a Sentinel Commander who fought against the Ash Titans marching against Fort Tarsis. Rann wrote the book Fire Walkers: March of the Titans after this terror was struck down.
Raidon
Raidon was a Sentinel Commander who posted notices of encouragement along the Strider Way so that the Sentinels always remained vigilant. His famous words were, "Be the wall."
Sentinel Captain in The Unwinding Box
Sentinel Captain in The Unwinding Box was a Sentinel who pitied the two mean-faced girls. She always ignored the minor mischiefs the two girls played on the citizens of her settlement. Unfortunately, one day the two girls outdid themselves by messing with a relic.
They even mutated the captain's dog into a half turtle, half-saurian, because of which it died. She eventually reached a point where she herself turned the two mean-faced girls into horrible mutations with the same relic which they used to wreak havoc in the town, mentioning that it was done in the spirit of their way of life and the law.
Captain Jenin
Captain Jenin is a Sentinel Captain in a village in the mountains of Heliost Region during the Icetide of 467 LV. He was protecting the people in the settlement when a Pink Ember Mantikar attacked them. The chimera killed most of the villagers. Only a teenager and the Captain survived.
While in the combat, Jenin came into contact with the mysterious Pink Ember trail left behind by the mantikar. This mutated his face and wounds. While the teenage girl took care of him for a while, the Regulator assassin Aushkiir tried to find the whereabouts of this Mantikar. The Sentinel didn't wish to speak with any Regulators and ignored him.
A day later, Jenin passed away, and the girl mourned him and took her vengenace by defeating the Mantikar who killed all the people of her village.
Encountered Sentinels
These are the Sentinels with whom the Freelancer encounters during any expedition but aren’t represented enough in any Anthem related media to justify their own pages. Their faces aren’t usually shown during any expedition, and they are shown with generic Sentinel models. They may, however be alive or dead. They may even be voiced.
Aldis
Aldis was one of the six sentinels in Brin's Patrol. Brin sent these six sentinels to take care of some Scars in an Enemy Mine way beyond the Fort walls. Unfortunately, Aldis was among the four who were killed in action. The Freelancer, along with Sentinel Barr helped Brin to locate the signet of the fallen Sentinel.
Brell
Brell was one of the six sentinels in Brin's Patrol. Brin sent these six sentinels to take care of some Scars in an Enemy Mine way beyond the Fort walls. Unfortunately, Brell was among the four who were killed in action. Barr was particularly saddened by the death of Brell.
Brell's Signet was taken away by a nasty Scar. The Freelancer, along with Sentinel Barr fought this scar and helped Brin to track down the signet of the fallen Sentinel.
Galla Dern
Galla Dern is a Sentinel patrolling the Crop Terraces. Slong with Varice Mall, she kept an eye on the Arcanists who were experimenting on the Shaper relic fragment that the Freelancer recovered from the Hollow while taking some Preventative Precautions for Sentinel Brin.
Dern has a wife named Kari. The two Sentinels talks about their daily slice of life. When Mal suggested that Dern bring a Scar antenna as a gift for her wife, Dern thought of that as a trophy. Mal and herself were going to patrol the Fort walls on their next task. The two help the Freelancer against a scar ambush on their site.
Geran
Geran was one of the six sentinels in Brin's Patrol. Brin sent these six sentinels to take care of some Scars in an Enemy Mine way beyond the Fort walls. Unfortunately, Geran was among the four who were killed in action. The Freelancer, along with Sentinel Barr helped Brin to locate the signet of the fallen Sentinel.
Fez
Fez is a Sentinel under Sentinel Captain Dax patrolling the Sentinel Base in Crop Terraces. Fez was with Dax and another Sentinel Wood who stood patrolling the base when the Freelancer brought in a map-cipher from a downed strider for Dax.
It is also possible that Fez was the sentinel who came with Commander Vule to track down Dax inside Talon's Hideout. Along with this, it is also possible that Fez was among the additional Sentinels who helped the people coming out of the "sunset zone" within the Foundry after the Mystery of the Emerald Abyss was finally solved.
Injured Sentinel (Inverse Functions)
An Injured Sentinel is encountered by teh Freelancer during the mission inverse Functions.
While several Sentinels fight Scars as they protect the Arcanists, led by Aruna Kaule on a Field Research, one of them is severely injured by the time The Freelancer comes to find the team. This sentinel, after his rescue, gives information to the Freelancer on the whereabouts of Aruna and her researchers.
It is unknown what happens to the this troop of sentinels. But when the Freelancer comes to the same spot to fight an Escari that kidnapped the Arcanists, none of them are seen. It is likely the entire troop was wiped out by the Scar leader, since everyone in the troop had barely recovered.
Konig
Konig is a Sentinel who helps the Freelancer guard the Auspex when the outlaws hired by the Symposium of Anshar hunt for the relic. Konig is the one who alerts the Freelancer and allies as the relic begins to spawn Ash Elementals. He is also surprised by the numerous Mysterious Figures who gate-in around their location. Konig has a distinct Scottish accent.
Mallon
Mallon is a Sentinel who helps the Freelancer guard the Auspex when the outlaws hired by the Symposium of Anshar hunt for the relic. She alerts everyone when outlaws start to ]]gate in]] and when elementals begin to come out of the relic.
Tam
Tam was one of the six sentinels in Brin's Patrol. Brin sent these six sentinels to take care of some Scars way beyond the Fort walls. Unfortunately, Tam was among the four who were killed in action. What is worse, is that Tam actually survived in the Enemy Mine until the very end of The Mandible, which was thought to have been abandoned. However, Tam was killed while trying to silence a Shaper relic. Sentinels are not trained to silence relice, but Tam somehow managed to subdue one. The relic had already summoned an Ursix, and the beast got to Tam before the Freelancer and Derian Barr could reach the fallen Sentinel. The Freelancer and Barr brought Tam's signet back to Brin.
Tassyn's Bodyguard
Tassyn's Bodyguard is a Sentinel who guards Tassyn in Fort Tarsis. This Sentinel has a different design on their Javelin when compared to others inside the Fort. There is also a "crown" insignis on the shoulders of this javelin, which may be an indication of the connections tied to the Royal Family of Antium.
Varice Mal
Varice Mal is a Sentinel patrolling the Crop Terraces. Along with Galla Dern, she kept an eye on the Arcanists who were experimenting on the Shaper relic fragment that the Freelancer recovered from the Hollow while taking some Preventative Precautions for Sentinel Brin.
The two Sentinels talks about their daily slice of life. Mal suggests that Dern bring a Scar antenna as a gift for her wife. She is also happy that Dern and herself were going to patrol the Fort walls on their next task, calling it their twin day. The two help the Freelancer against a scar ambush on their site.
Wood
Wood is a Sentinel under Sentinel Captain Dax patrolling the Sentinel Base in Crop Terraces. Wood was with Dax and another Sentinel Fez who stood patrolling the base when the Freelancer brought in a map-cipher from a downed strider for Dax.
It is also possible that Wood was the sentinel who came with Commander Vule to track down Dax inside Talon's Hideout.
