Jani is the adoptive sister of Kismet.[1] She was Yarrow's ward and was present at the battle of Freemark. There, she stayed inside the city to help who she could. During the retreat, Jani discovered what the Sentinels already knew: there was an ancient Shaper relic protected deep inside the city.
