Heliost is a settlement, located in the nation of Bastion, on the planet Coda, as of the year 468 LV.

History

Heliost is a luxurious city in the North-eastern side of Bastion. It is unknown when it was built, but has been renowned for its engineering. Most items found in day-to-day use are made in Heliost. All machines, decorative items, and goods are hand-crafted by the engineers of Heliost.

Heliost has been attacked by Scars a few times. After the Scars took over the western side of Skystone in 464 LV, the easter side, which is a Strider Lock to Heliost I spermanently guarded and all stiders had to take an alternative path for transportation.

A short time after the failed attempt to Silence the Heart of Rage in 466 LV, the Freelancer visited Heliost to find work, met with Owen and the two joined hands to do Freelancing for contracts.

Geography and Layout

While heliost is in the north-eastern side of the nation of Bastion, its true geographt I sbarely revealed. There are several mountains around the city. The rivers of the area are usually fed by the Helossar Glacier. There is an abundant supply of Ember around Heliost. There are few farming communities outside the city.

From what has been shown in the Art of Anthem, Heliost is likely is the middle of an arid or sandy region. It is a well known fact that there is a lot of smoke within the city itself. According to Max, the city of Heliost is as much worth as her bar.

Heliost has its own Satomi called the Bronelyn Satomi. Owen Corley studied there.

The following are the revealed varieties of plantlife that are guaranteed to be found in Heliost. Even a single instance of the flora found in this location is listed here. There may still be more plants that aren't accurately charted:

Enemy Encounters

There may not be any specific enemies that belong to any known factions here. Hostile flora and fauna, if found here, aren't considered as enemy encounters.

This location currently doesn't have any exclusive cortex entry found in the game. Heliost may have been mentioned in certain situations such as, the Freelancer having conversations or overhearing when the people in Coda speak, or mentioned outside the game in legitimate sources like the official tie-in media.

Expedition List

Heliost isn't particularly visited during any expedition. However, it is possible that Heliost may have served as a connection between two locations during some expeditions. There may also be several instances of World Events in Freeplay that show up in or around this place.
