According to legend, the four legionnaires who guard the way to General Tarsis will grant gifts to those who leave them the proper offerings.

Guardians Gifts or Tombs of Legionnaires Offering, usually stylized as Guardians' Gifts, is a legendary item crafting mechanism introduced during the Season of Icetide.

Lancers can now convert crafting materials into Legendary-quality items. These materials have to be harvested through various methods first. Take the appropriate materials to one of the Tombs of the Legionnaires, along with a Guardians' Token to be exchanged.

Note: There are tips and tricks on how to optimize the items gained at the end of this article.

The Freelancer must simply enter the relevant tomb and possess the required materials and at least one guardian token to obtain the gift. The higher the rarity of the embers used, the fewer the number of embers used to craft. Other crafting resources will be same across the board. Simply select one of the four pedestals above which an ember of an appropriate rarity is to be used, then interact with it.

All items obtained have a Legendary rarity whose power level is increased by 50. For example: If the Pilot level is 15, the Power Level of the item will be 15+50, or 65.

At Pilot Level 30, every item received will have Power Level 80 using this mechanism, regardless of the difficulty of the game mode, as of Update 1.7.0.

It is currently known that all Gears, Melee Weapons, Components (both Jav specific and Universal), Support Gears, and weapons introduced before Echoes of Reality are available as Guardians' Gifts.

Blade Slingers, Pulse Accelerators, and Volt Casters are currently not included in this mechanism.

Tips and Tricks

  • There is still randomness involved, but the type of item needed is significantly narrowed down by utilizing this mechanism.
  • Even though the limit on the number of loot drops collected is 50 per session, it is possible to obtain more than 50 gifts.
  • Although players won't see the loot drops being collect visually, those items will be collected by the game and will be available for the grand reveal when the session ends. So if you make more than 50 offerings, don't worry, they will all be collected for you.
  • Since update 1.7.0, the minimum number of tokens received by completing the challenges is 8 every week. The maximum is 15 or 16 and depends on whether the monthly and festive challenges are available to complete during that particular week.
  • The power level of the item is fixed at (50 + Pilot Level). So it doesn't matter if the offering is made in any difficulty.
  • It is best to not use these tokens until pilot level 30 is reached for maximum benefits.
  • At pilot levels 26, 27, 28, and 29, the guardians' gifts obtained will have power levels of 76, 77, 78, and 79 respectively. At pilot level 30, all legendary items obtained in GM1 and GM2 will have a fixed power level of 75. So, it is possible to get better items before reaching end game.
  • It is better to use masterwork embers when getting the guardians' gifts because they are easily obtainable at end game, and also because all other ember rarities may be needed to craft Sigils before expeditions.
