Gauntlet of Valor is a special environment, located in the nation of Bastion, on the planet Coda, as of the year 468 LV. The Gauntlet of Valor is a location that can only be accessed inside the Chamber of Valor, through a Gateway Device under the Effigy of Valor in the Fortress of Dawn Interior. The Gauntlet of Valor is likely not a place in the current reality.
History
The Gauntlet of Valor was created by Arden Vassa and could only be accessed by a lancer with their own Signet. This was done before Vassa and Stral locked the fortress and walked away from it.
Nearly half a millennium after the Fortress was abandoned, the Freelancer, in the year 468 LV, with the help of a legendary Freelancer called Haluk, and cyphers Faye Navine and Owen Corley, entered the Fortress of Dawn, making history and witnessing the mysteries the Legion of Dawn had left for humanity to uncover, so that they could Return to the Heart of Rage to silence the Cenotaph. In the process, the Freelancer conquered three gauntlets. The final one was the Gauntlet of Valor.
Geography and Layout
The Gauntlet of Resolve is entered through a Gateway Device that connects the Freelancer's mind and javelin to this location. This location resembles parts of the South of Fort Tarsis. However, it is still quite a unique place with ruined Legion of Dawn structures, especially arches. There is a central arena. This location almost has a feel of an amphitheater. The sun here looks red. Shaper Vines grow here. However, the most striking feature here is the presence of an orb of light that speaks words of General Tarsis. This orb can also switch to a form where it looks like the Javelin of Dawn.

There are no revealed varieties of macroscopic Flora found in Gauntlet of Valor.
Creatures
Gauntlet of Valor doesn’t have any revealed macroscopic Fauna, Chimera,or Elementals, but there may be small Insects that are tough to identify.
Enemy Encounters
As with all locations of Coda, Gauntlet of Valor may have hostile forces. Hostile plantlife and animals, if found here, aren't considered as enemy encounters. The enemies marked with

are found only through World Encounters and World Events respectively. Those unmarked may also be found in such events, but are usually found on their own.

Cortex
This location currently doesn't have any exclusive cortex entry found in the game. Gauntlet of Valor may have been mentioned in certain situations such as, the Freelancer having conversations or overhearing when the people in Coda speak, or mentioned outside the game in legitimate sources like the official tie-in media.

Trivia
- This special or its surroundings will look different during various seasonal times, which includes the presence or absence of various cataclysmic storms.
- This gauntlet is the only location where General Helena Tarsis’s voice is heard.
- This gauntlet is one of the few times where the Freelancer is outside the javelin, yet has control over movement. (i.e., the camera can be moved along with moving in different directions; this is not seen during cutscenes.)
- The 3 gauntlets have an RGB theme, but in reverse order.
