The Freelancer motto is Strong Alone, Stronger Together. Sometimes, it is shortened to Stronger Together.
Origin[]
The Motto has its origins in Falon Dalathie's work The Freelancers Three. Although it is a work of fiction in Bastion, it's values are prevelant even to this day among its people.
Usage[]
The motto has been used to motivate green Lancers to work in teams and have faith in their squad. This motto is chanted several times during many missions including Silence the Heart of Rage, Freelancer Down, and Return to the Heart of Rage.
The words are also used in other works such as the radio drama Crimson Lancer and Dawnguard.
After many successful adventures of the Freelancer such as solving the Mystery of the Emerald Abyss and the Heart of Rage was silenced for good, more people began to have faith in Freelancers and started using the motto again.
Meta[]
The motto itself has a meta value where it is used to motivate and encourage the Freelancers across the world to work together and play the game in squads, especially along with friends.

- Pirndel Blatch, the Fort custodian has modified this motto to encourage the Freelancers to remain safe: Strong Alone. Stronger in Safety.
- The shortened version of this motto is used more often than the full version.
