Elysian Caches Loot Icon in the Inventory
Elysian Caches are found at the end of Strongholds and can only be unlocked with an Elysian Key acquired through the daily Path to Glory Challenges.
These caches contained 162 possible mix of cosmetic or crafting items So a maximum of 4 rewards can be received at the end of a stronghold[1], if all 4 freelancers open a cache each. 4 caches could also be unlocked by one freelancer is they had 4 or more keys with them.
The loot from these chests are uniquely colored in turquoise, and can also show up in the tracked menu.
This is a time limited event which lasted for 40 days between March 26th 2019 and May 5th 2019. It was also mentioned that these caches may return in the future. However, they are still not available for anyone who missed them.
Collecting all the cosmetic items from the caches will complete the Elysian Collector challenge, whose existence would also disappear after the event ends.
Lore[]

Mysterious Boxes in the Enclave Containing Special Items
Elysian caches may be tied to Raban Maur's discoveries of Elysian Secrets. These caches were delivered to the Freelancer Enclave in 468 L. V. by a prominent Arcanist.
The Arcanist Academy had sent these caches to the Freelancers making a note that the items inside the caches were fragile and not to drop them. The boxes were kept safely in the Amplifier Chamber.
Unfortunately, the caches were brought inside Fort Tarsis without the approval of the Fort Custodian Pirndel Blatch. Because of this, Pirndle, outraged sent an angry ranting letter to all the Freelancers of the Fort.
The Freelancer also received one such letter in their mail, but decided to ignore it since the caches did not contain anything harmful.

Crafting Resources Rewards[]
The items received from these caches also include various amounts of crafting resources:
- Embers
- Chimeric Alloy
- Chimeric Compound
- Ranger Parts
- Colossus Parts
- Storm Parts
- Interceptor Parts
- Weapon Parts
Cosmetic Rewards[]

An Elysian Cache at the End of Stronghold
Although these cosmetic rewards were guaranteed, it was still slightly based on randomness as sometimes even crafting resources can be rewarded.
However, it is possible to get all these items (obviously with the help of others who open these caches). but a grand total of 162 caches must be opened.
Trivia[]
- With 162 rewards and only 40 days to earn them, even with a full squad of 4 friends will fall short of 2 rewards. This meant that players had to rely on the courtesy of other (probably random) players to get all possible rewards.
- There were supposed to be 73 cosmetic items mentioned on the Anthem Website during the first time. however, the article was removed and replaced with a new article without giving any reason. Some of these could be purchased in the Featured Store. These were the removed cosmetic items[2][3]:
- Wrap: Death Rattle
- Decal: Down With Decay
- Decal: First One In
- Decal: Laughing Skull
- Decal: Bone Collector
- Decal: Aim High
