Elementalist is a Valkyrie javelin that is more powerful. It utilizes seals to channel the Anthem of Creation to control the elements. Like Valkyries, Elementalists can be used only by highly skilled Dominion, Regulators, and Outlaws pilots only. Certain Elementalist javelin types have a higher pool of health than a run-of-the-mill Valkyrie. All Dominion Elementalists are simply referred to as Valkyries. But all Valkyries are not Elementalists.
Narrative[]
Elementalists are javelins developed by the Dominion. In fact, they are the highest echelon among the Valkyrie type javelins and have abilities to switch between the elements on a whim without much trouble. Elementalists being the most powerful Valkyries, must have been invented by upgrading the original Valkyrie by the Dominion.
Elementalists are seen throughout Northern Bastion ever since the Heart of Rage was unleashed. After the destruction of Freemark, newer variants of Elementalists, some specializing in a particular element, and others mastering all three have surfaced. Outlaws notably use these javelins to control the battlefield during skirmished when they are ambushing striders and attacking law abiding citizens. Regulators are also known to use these javelins to protect their hideouts. It is thought that Outlaws obtain the Elementalist javelins from Regulators or by directly dealing with the Dominion—a dangerous act.
It is unknown whether Elementalist lancers use cyphers to improve their functions. Regulators are known to employ Cyphers, so the chances of utilizing one are very high.

There are several types of Elementalists. All of these types do elemental damages:
- Dominion Elementalist (sometimes also called Elemental Valkyries)
- Outlaw Elementalist
- Regulator Elementalists
Elementalists do not use any hand-held weapons. They can hover indefinitely unless they are grounded by force, burning them or freezing them. They swap the type of element they use at a whim. Some Elementalists are known to use handheld weapons, only seen during cut scenes. According to the Anthem Prima Guide, they are supposed to use a sub-machine gun during battle, but they don’t.

Elementalists have one purpose during combat: making sure hiding enemies are brought out of cover.

Customization[]
Elementalists are used by the Dominion, Outlaws, and Regulators. Each faction customizes these javelins in a different way.
They are almost always painted black and gold with decorative vinyls all over them. The Dominion versions have white prominently featured instead of black colors, but with heavy gold accents. The Regulator versions have a red and bluish-gray paint job. All Elementalists have a cape that assists them with flight. These capes can be vividly colored and designed. As of now, red, blue, white, black, and gold capes have been seen on various occasions.
The Dominion and Outlaw Elementalist javelins look very similar. The Regulator ones use a completely different armor design, color and vinyls, usually red and green.

- Some Elementalists have a greater number of seals on their javelins, covering their helmet and legs, apart from the 18 on the right arm.
