File:Location Settlement Dunar Header Image.png

Dunar was a settlement, located in the nation of Bastion, but is now a ruin on the planet Coda, as of the year 468 LV.

History

Dunar was an Arcanist settlement built by Arden Vassa. It is thought to be the location of the “Sanctuary” where General Tarsis held her meetings before the Fortress of Dawn was built. It was also here where Magna Stral first met the Legion.

The Gate of the Rising Sun is the location where Tal and Ora fought and thwarted an Urgoth attack where the enemies used Xagulars. Liatrelle built the Tomb of Legionnaire Cariff here in honor of him fighting their enemies here to stop the Urgoth once. Unfortunately when an Arcanist researcher brought a Shaper relic, it went volatile and the Library of Dunar along with most of Dunar was ruined.

There was also a Skirmish at Dunar where a lancer called Ralner used fire to thwart Scars. More recently, in 468 LV, more scrolls of the Elysian Manuscript were found here. Also, it was found that the Symposium of Anshar was still operating and they killed Raban Maur. Later due to the influence of Echoes of Reality, a Shaper Spine became active and destroyed the ruins even more. A Shaper Ice Globe spurted out here during Icetide of 468 LV.

Geography and Layout

Dunar was built in the Emerald Abyss. The forests here have been very dense. The city itself was built on the cliff and has a waterbody in its middle.

The Library of Dunar was built here. Scholars from all over the world came here to study. The prominent arcanists included Raban Maur and Mederines. As of today, this location is mostly remembered as Sanctuary of Dunar, where it is mostly overgrown by nature.
