Darkwood Barrens is a district of Fortress of Dawn Subregion found within the region of Northern Bastion, located in the nation of Bastion, on the planet Coda, as of the year 468 LV.
History
Darkwood Barrens was once a lively location with thriving plantlife. Tales are told about this place—once Arden Vassa stood here and used ember to build the Fortress of Dawn which scorched the earth beneath and permanently changed the vegetation.
Between 458 and 468 LV, the Freelancer visited this place with the aid of Owen Corley to do a contract where something tried to eat the lancer. In 468 LV, the Freelancer passed trough this location to help find Matthias and assist Dax.
Geography and Layout
The ground of Darkwood Barrens indeed looks like it is scorched. Trees found here are either decaying or completely burned! Very few plants are found. Only harsh predators live here. The ground has murky waters. There are several large hives of vesnids found here.
