Curate Trall has contacted Cypher Ruc Bayern in Heliost and Madame Chronicler in Fort Tarsis using the Songbird Amplifier in Antium to question about Dominion sightings.[1]
Note: There are several fanmade twitter accounts that seem like residents of Coda who may have replied to the conversations. But they aren’t official. Most notorious among these are accounts of Sentinels, Traders, Custodians, Freelancers, etc. Only the Accounts of Curate Trall, Cypher Ruc Bayen, Cypher Saul Metren, Cypher Ty Garron, and Madame Chronicler Zahra Tol are officially associated with the network.

Curate Trall I continue to see reports of Dominion forces still causing problems near Fort Tarsis despite the utter failure of their campaign. So much for their vaunted honor. @MadameTol @CypherRucBayen |
![]() |
Madame Chronicler Zahra Tol I've heard they are still troublesome, Curate, but little better than outlaws these days. |
![]() |
Cypher Ruc Bayen They're usually more organized than a random bunch of outlaws. I mean, since I’m so close to Stralheim, I guess I've learned a little about how the Dominion is structured. |
![]() |
Curate Trall I’ve faced them in the field, Cypher Bayen--they always have a goal. |
![]() |
Madame Chronicler Zahra Tol Does "Causing mayhem" count as a goal now? How charming. |
![]() |
Madame Chronicler Zahra Tol All the reports I have heard from the Sentinels and Freelancers at the fort suggest the Dominion troops are simply running about the jungle hitting things at random and shouting. |
![]() |
Curate Trall Rather far removed from the ruthless expansionist empire we have come to expect. Perhaps we should send a gift basket. A note of encouragement in their time of trouble. |
![]() |
Madame Chronicler Zahra Tol Oh, yes. “Keep up the good work!” Perhaps? |
![]() |
Curate Trall All that falling apart deserves *something*. |
![]() |
Cypher Ruc Bayen Yeah, I’m sure that’d be real meaningful. |
![]() |
Curate Trall They attacked and they failed. That is the meaning they may draw. This “Monitor” of theirs was incompetent and led his army to ruin. |
![]() |
Madame Chronicler Zahra Tol Do you seriously believe that turning himself into a gigantic monstrosity was a demonstration of the Monitor's competence, Cypher Balen? |
![]() |
Cypher Ruc Bayen It’s “Bayen.” Madame. And the Monitor did get closer to the Anthem than any other cypher's been able to… |
![]() |
Madame Chronicler Zahra Tol Yes, what a truly spectacular idea that seems to have been. |
![]() |
Curate Trall Regardless. The report from Corvus was very clear, a Dominion marshal was leading a force south in an attempt to breach the Heart of Rage and exert control over the Cenotaph. The Monitor was the only person in command during the entire doomed exercise. |
![]() |
Curate Trall Are you suggesting he was not the marshal? |
![]() |
Cypher Ruc Bayen That’s my take, Curate. Marshals are the highest of the higher-ups. They coordinate major campaigns, so they’re hardly ever in the field. |
![]() |
Cypher Ruc Bayen Under the marshals, Dominion officers are usually right in the middle of the action, like pilots in javelins and lieutenants giving orders to operators and ground troops. |
![]() |
Madame Chronicler Zahra Tol If the Monitor was not the leader of the Dominion forces, then who was? And why have we heard nothing of them? |
![]() |
Curate Trall Who knows? Maybe we will. |
Trivia
- Some conversation replies may not be in the list as they are not easy to find among the many tweets and replies.
- Stralheim can b eseen from the mountains of Heliost.
- The Monitor did get closer to the Anthem than any other cypher's been able to, except Faye Navine. At this point in the story Faye hasn’t revealed this fact to anyone. It is very likely neither Haluk, nor the Freelancer have spoken about this.
- This is the first time it is revealed that Dominion Marshalls are the highest-ranking Dominion Officers. In a previous Live Event called Dominion Takeover, there were 4 Dominion Marshalls who were defeated by The Freelancer. But they did not use any special javelin back then, but used Valkyrie or Elementalist or were simply Dominion Storm Brute or Dominion Frost Brute with the Marshall tagged instead of their generic enemy name.
- The reports heard by Madame Chronicler are about the remaining forces who followed The Monitor. But the Dominion sightings referred to by the Curate is the Spear Battalion.
- Contrary to what is being implied, Vara Brom is not a Marshall, but only a high ranking Valkyrie Officer. It was never revealed who this officer was. The closest possibility is Doctor Harken, but that remains to be seen as the end of Echoes of Reality put forward more questions than give answers.
- This conversation was released on July 3, 2019.
