Crescent Lake is a district of Ruins of Shadowmark Subregion found within the region of Northern Bastion, located in the nation of Bastion, on the planet Coda, as of the year 468 LV.
History
Crescent Lake is named after a deep-water lake present in this location. Some people theorize that an anzu lived inside this lake. But this is unconfirmed.
In 468 LV, the Freelancer came here to find outlaws running outside the mine while helping Dax during their Mysterious Beginnings. Later after silencing the Heart of Rage, the Freelancer helped Brin to locate the inactive pieces of the Doomsday Relic and recover them from the Dominion here. Later when finding the location of the Spear Battalion, the Freelancer visited the Crescent Lake to enter the mine.
Geography and Layout
The Crescent lake in the middle of this district connects to the cenote in Shadowmark. This area is primarily wilderness, with occasional failed Dominion attempts to takeover. The plants here grow densely. Some animals are found here, but most of them are inside the lake. There is a broken Shaper ring-like structure overlooking the lake. This district has two hidden places inside it: the Sovereign Mine and the Core.
