Otherwise known as “quickmaw,” stinkhand has become the more popular term for this hazardous plant. As prey draws close to the stinkhand, it will emit a pungent cloud of acidic mist, causing the prey to writhe in pain. Especially susceptible are airborne creatures, which the stinkhand will snatch right out of the air. The acid causes modest damage to javelin armor, but will prove quite destructive through repeated exposure. Though stinkhand has been harvested as an ingredient in perfumes such as “Fervent” and “Black Ember,” the plant is not allowed in most settlements.
