Location Landmarks Convector Henge Header Image

Convector Henge is a landmark, located in the nation of Bastion, on the planet Coda, as of the year 468 LV.

History

The Convector Henge is thought to be a dormant Shaper structure whose real proportions are unknown. It is thought that this relic is only the tip of a much larger system underneath it. It is thought to have been the cause for the cataclysm that boiled the water in the Bowl, a shallow lake nearby, in 250 LV. Since then, it has been silenced by the Freelancers.

Attempts have been made by new forms of Scars in mid the 400’s to dig out the relic for unknown intentions. But human efforts were successful in stopping the Scar efforts. The relic is dormant, and hence it can still become active if there is an imbalance in Shaper energy or if severely disturbed.

Geography and Layout

Geography of Convector Henge

The Convector Henge is a series of walls made using stone and metal, arranged in a circular pattern around another circular disc in their center. The real shape of true size of this Shaper relic is unknown, and likely to remain as such unless unearthed through specialized excavations.

The walls are covered in moss and the surroundings are brimming with minor vegetations because of shallow water flowing around it.

Flora

The following are the revealed varieties of plantlife that are guaranteed to be found in Convector Henge. Even a single instance of the flora found in this location is listed here. There may still be more plants that aren't accurately charted:

Those unmarked may also be found in such events, but are usually found on their own. The following types of fauna, Chimera, and Elementals are revealed to be found in Convector Henge. There may also be small Insects which are tough to identify. Weaponized and Shaper Corrupt creatures are not listed here

Enemy Encounters

There may not be any specific enemies that belong to any known factions here. Hostile flora and fauna, if found here, aren't considered as enemy encounters.

This now dormant Shaper relic juts out of the earth like walls arranged in a large circular pattern. It became active around 250 L.V. and is thought to be connected to water boiling in the nearby water source, The Bowl. The Scar Luminary known as Junkhead undertook efforts to unearth this relic, but was defeated. Freelancers silenced the relic and it has not been active since.

Expedition List

Convector Henge isn't particularly visited during any expedition. However, it is possible that Convector Henge may have served as a connection between two locations during some expeditions. There may also be several instances of World Events in Freeplay that show up in or around this place.

Trivia

  • This landmark or its surroundings will look different during various seasonal times, which includes the presence or absence of various cataclysmic storms.
  • The Convector Henge is an allusion to the Stonehenge.
  • A cortex entry (the same as the one mentioned above) is unlocked when a Collect Icon collectible note surrounded by a cypher projected hemisphere is found in the landmark.
