
Brin has more contracts for the Freelancer so that they improve the relations between Sentinels and Freelancers.
Hints and Suggestions
- The dialog exchange between the characters will change depending on whether single player or multiplayer mode is played.
- Remember to perform Feats to obtain XP for increasing Pilot Level and receiving Alliance bonus.
- This particular expedition may have a video walkthrough after the Cortex Entry section for documentation.
- Scars infantry can be easily tackled with any combat equipment. Items that do Blast Damage are more useful when they are in hordes.
- For Scar Scouts and hunters, it is best to focus on stripping their shields with lightning or Shield Breaker damage.
- Scar Destroyers' seeker mines are filled with acid which can reduce resistance of the javelin. They can deploy them infinite times. One mine may be tolerable, but several mines can automatically target a javelin and bring it down. Whenever a Destroyer is seen, defeat it quickly with any equipment.
- Scar Hunters can do a lot of damage They must be a priority when tackling enemies. Once their shields are stripped, freeze them using ice or render them flightless with fire.
- Scar Enforcers have armored health. They don’t do much damage. Using armor buster, acid or fire type damage is the best way to deal with them. Same goes for turrets.

The below video is on rotation. The cycle repeats after 4 days. The type of javelin used, the voice of the Freelancer, and any possible season changes during each rotation. - Sentinel Brin: "Sorry. Hello! Anyhow, listen. I think our Freelancer-Sentinel collaboration needs to expand systematically. To that end: would you care to help our patrols? We can always use reliable backup."
- The Freelancer: "Those Sentinels won’t mind sharing the glory?"

Find Missing Sentinel Patrol
- Sentinel Brin: "A Sentinel patrol is due for a check in. find them and make sure they’re okay."
- The Freelancer: "Okay, On my way."
The Freelancer flies to the location provided by Brin.
Travel to Last Known Location
The Freelancer reaches Lover's Springs.
- Sentinel Brin: "The missing Sentinel patrol! Scars took them prisoner."
Scars have captured the Sentinels and hooked them up to unknown devices. The Freelancer must also deal with the Scars.
Sentinels Rescued
The Freelancer must rescue 4 Sentinels. Rescued Sentinels will help the Freelancer during combat. When the first Sentinel is rescued by breaking the machines,
- Sentinel: "I didn’t think any backup was coming. I owe you, Freelancer."
When the second Sentinel is rescued,
- Sentinel: "That was a bad ambush. Thank you for the assist."
More Scars can show up in Scar hives. When the third Sentinel is rescued,
- Sentinel: "I don’t think I would’ve made it without help. Thanks, Freelancer."
When the last Sentinel is rescued,
- Sentinel: "That was rough. Thanks for answering the call. Freelancer."
- The Freelancer: "The Sentinels are all free."
- Sentinel Brin: "You’ve still got active hostiles. Take them down."
Defeat Remaining Enemies
When all the Scars are defeated,
- The Freelancer: "The fight’s over."
- Sentinel Brin: "There’s one more thing."
Help Ambushed Sentinels
- Sentinel Brin: "A Sentinel patrol is asking for backup. Can you help?"
- The Freelancer: "I’ll take care of it."
Travel to Sentinels
The Freelancer heads over to Strider Way.
- Sentinel Brin: "You’re at the target. Help those Sentinels with those Scar Turrets!"
There are two Turrets that must be destroyed. They are marked as targets.
Turrets Destroyed
When the turrets are destroyed,
- Sentinel Brin: "There’s no more active Scar turrets."
Defeat Remaining Enemies
When fighting the remaining Scars, a big Scar can show up!
- Sentinel Brin: "There’s the Scar Hunter!"
Defeat Targeted Scar
The Freelancer fights and defeats the target.
Defeat Remaining Enemies
The Freelancer defeats all remaining Scar enemies.
- The Freelancer: "Got rid of all the Scars."

Support Sentinel Assault Team's Raid
- Sentinel Brin: "I need you to rendezvous with a team of Sentinels on a raid."
- The Freelancer: "Okay. Understood."
Travel to Staging Area
The Freelancer flies to reach The Crop Terraces. The Freelancer meets up with 4 Sentinels prepared to raid.
- Sentinel: "Thanks for the help. See those explosives? Take some and blow up the Scar’s weapons caches."
- The Freelancer: "I can do that."
Stockpiles Destroyed
The Freelancer must destroy 3 Stockpiles while dealing with the massive swarm of scars located in Governor Springs. The Freelancer picks up an explosive to drop off on the first stockpile.
Arming Explosive
A Cypher Projected circle shows up. The Freelancer must remain inside the green circle. If they go out of it, the circle becomes orange, and the progress made starts to dwindle. If enemies enter the circle, it becomes pale in color and the progress continues, but slightly slower when compared to when it is green.
- Sentinel Brin: "Bomb’s arming. Stay close until it’s ready."
Explosion Imminent. Get Clear
Once the explosives are armed, the Freelancer has 10 seconds to get away. The Freelancer picks up a second explosive to drop off on the second stockpile.
Arming Explosive
The Freelancer prepares to arm the explosive.
Explosion Imminent. Get Clear
Once the explosives are armed, the Freelancer has 10 seconds to get away. The Freelancer picks up a third explosive to drop off on the third stockpile.

Once the explosives are armed, the Freelancer has 10 seconds to reach safety. All the stockpiles have now been destroyed.
- Sentinel Brin: "Okay. Get rid of those hostiles next."

The Freelancer defeats the remaining enemies.
- The Freelancer: "All hostiles are down."
- Sentinel Brin: "This was important work. So, from me and the other Sentinels, thanks Freelancer."
Post Expedition
The Freelancer returns to the Fort.
Notes and Remarks
- This expedition has no conversational cut scene during briefing.
- This expedition has no conversational de-briefing post mission.
- The dialogs mentioned in the script can vary across different play-throughs and different repetition of the game modes. The dialog will be taken from a pool that get rotated in-game. The script mentioned here is from one such instance only.
