Enemies must not only suffer from a status effect, but they must also be a primed status. Primed enemies will have one of these four icons above their name plates: for fire, for ice, for acid, and for lightning induced status effects. Once primed, they must also be detonated for the combo to be triggered.
In any game mode, a maximum of 3 Combos feats can be earned. So multiple expeditions are required to complete this challenge. The feat will only count if it shows up in the Tracked Menu or if the expedition completed banner pops up.
The progress towards this challenge starts counting immediately after Pilot Level 2 is reached, and it passively completes itself over the course of playing the game.
Additional Notes and Trivia
The "Time remaining" mentioned is only meant to represent the maximum time for the challenge to be completed when it is available.
This challenge is always available, but may require progression through the story or leveling up to unlock.
