Aquatic Star is a hostile type flora that could possibly do damage to living and non-living things on Coda. It may even do possibly damage to javelins in its vicinity. Contact with this dangerous plant-life can be lethal to living organisms. Humans dealing with Aquatic Star must handle it with care. Aquatic Star can be found growing in open spaces.
Etymology and Anatomy
Aquatic stars are unnamed flora-like beings that can be found in a very specific underwater lake inside the Tyrant Mine. Thy have a wiggling star shaped body, but their real name remains a mystery. They float inside the water, but do not move around.
Narrative Involvement
In 468 LV, when a group of Freelancers was contracted by Corvus, through agent Sev, the Freelancer, who led this group encountered these aquatic stars. After trying to locate the source of acidic weapons that the Scars were trying to make, the lancers had to dive inside an underground lake to reach this source. This is where these aquatic stars were encountered. Touching them would cause electrical malfunctions to the javelin.
Cortex
This flora currently doesn't have any exclusive cortex entry found in the game. Aquatic Star may have been mentioned in the dialogs when the Freelancer participates in conversations, or overheard when the people of Coda speak with each other, or mentioned outside the game in legitimate sources like the official tie-in media.

Behavior and Abilities
Although the aquatic stars look docile like the fauna under water, they are not. They produce an electrical shock that can put a javelin in an electrocuted status. The javelin will receive a minor damage. It is quite easy to evade these plants.
