Etymology and Anatomy
Water Trumpet plants are aquatic plants that resemble a trumpet. These plants have a sword shaped leaves that whorl around a central stem. The Water Trumpets found here are always red in color.
Additional Details:
These flora are found growing in open spaces. These plants tend to thrive in most locations.
Because of their nature, they provide a pleasant ambience during exploration.
Narrative Involvement
Water Trumpet is an aquatic plant, which can be encountered by the Freelancer swimming underwater in deep water pools. They aren’t hostile and do not damage anyone.
Trivia (May Contain Spoilers)
- This plant isn’t named in
Anthem. So, in this section, it is named after its real-world counterpart. - Red variation of water trumpet is called Red Wendt's water trumpet or Cryptocoryne wendtii red.
- There are also green variations of Water Trumpets in the real-world. Oddly, this is one of the few plants with such a quality that isn't available in the green variety in-game.

Special Trivia
Anthem is the game which has the most unique number of plant or flora designs when compared to any other Bioware game, especially when seasonal changes are considered.
Anthem is quite unique in terms of having aquatic plants that can exist both above ground and underwater—not all of them can do that, however.
