Anthem's Grace is a Combat Gear or commonly, Gear, classified under the Support Seal category. From the gameplay standpoint, it is considered as Gear 3 or Support. Since Anthem's Grace is used during combat, it is considered a Combat Equipment. It it is possible to use gears to damage and defeat enemies and break destructible objects.

Anthem's Grace is an upgraded Quickening Field. It is a Support Seal whose zone of power increases gear recharge rate by 20%. For the masterwork perk to become useful, allies need not remain inside the Quickening Field.
This item has a special ability, which is a procedural perk that can be activated by performing an action mentioned in its masterwork perk.
Masterwork Perk: Additionally increases gear damage by 20%.

- The Masterwork Anthem's Grace obtained from loot drops will have a power level of 61, whereas the one obtained from Gear or Interceptor Warchests will have a power level of 66.
- Anthem's Grace remains effective until its duration ends for any ally that even touches the field and goes away.
- Anthem's Grace has the highest recharge time of all combat items in the game at 72 seconds.
- Gears are the only combat items that share their base design with their upgraded design.
