Lady Adaxia Miravala Dell, known commonly as Dax, is a Sentinel and third in line for the throne of Antium.
Born into the Antium royal line of succession, Dax is one of the most sought-after women in Bastion—much to her chagrin. Dax wishes she could simply be a cartographer like her Aunt Cardea, mapping the mysteries of uncharted lands. After embarrassing her stuffy family, Dax was banished to Fort Tarsis to learn discipline from the Sentinels.
Lord Roye is pursuing her hand in marriage, claiming that she is "the most eligible unmarried woman in the world", but Dax utterly ignores him.
